Transitional Programs
Internal Medicine
Transitional training program (1-2 years).
General Surgery
Partially accredited training program (one year) accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
Pediatric
Transitional training program (one or two years).
Categorical
Radiation Oncology
Four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
Four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council - and three years by the Arab Board.
Nuclear Medicine
Four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council. Joint program with the University of Jordan.
Diagnostic Radiology
Three –year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
Anesthesia
Three years (out of the four) accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council, the residents spend one more year in one of the affiliated hospitals.
Orthopedic Residency
One-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
Instructions and Regulations
According to the regulations of the Jordanian Medical Council, trainess are not allowed to exceed 20% absence rate (Equivalent to 73 days) of the total training days per year.
