Oncology nursing course recognizes uniqueness of individual at each stage of cancer care. The physical and psychosocial effect of cancer creates specific needs for patients and their families from diagnosis to treatment or to survivorship. Since nurses’ work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high quality comprehensive cancer service for cancer patients and their families, this course provides a structured program of study that enables participants to develop essential knowledge, skills and competencies in oncology nursing practice and prepare them to handle distinct roles to provide holistic, autonomous, and timely care their patients.
